The FC Ararat-Armenia was founded in Yerevan as FC “Avan Academy”. In 2018, Tashir Group took the management and renamed it to FC “Ararat-Armenia”. In 2017-18 the club participated the professional championship for the first time.
We took 3rd place, which gave a chance to join the Premier League next season.
“Ararat-Armenia” joined the Armenian Football Premier League for the first time in 2018-19 and became the champion of Armenia in the second tour.
Ararat-Armenia was thw champion of Armenia in the 2019-20 season as well. In 2019 at the match with Alashkert, “Ararat-Armenia” became the winner of the Hakob Tonoyan Super Cup.
“Ararat-Armenia” has twice reached the playoff round of the UEFA Europe League in the 2019/2020 և 2020/2021 seasons.
The club has 2 professional football teams (Ararat-Armenia and Ararat-Armenia-2) and a girls’ team, one professional futsal team (since 2019 they twice have become vice-champions of the futsal championship) and 8 younger teams of different ages.
